During my visit I provide mental, physical, emotional and spiritual support to the birthing person and the entire family. I assist with newborn care and sibling adjustment while doing chores around the house and providing meals. I give evidence-based info on newborn feeding and mental and physical recovery from childbirth and the postpartum period - making necessary referrals so parents can make informed decisions for their own baby.

Telling your birth story can be so empowering. It gives light to and gives evidence of your experience happening and that its allowed during this time of transition. Sometimes after birth it can feel like your story doesn't matter because all that matters is the baby, but you and your story do matter. I provide non-judgmental listening and this can ultimately reduce the chances of developing perinatal mood disorders.

Home visits or zoom calls. One hour each. We will strategize and implement what postpartum caregivers you want around, prep for baby and talk about concerns, needs and ideas.
